The agreement
By downloading or using Runtile you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), which applies to Runtile. If these terms and the standard EULA disagree, the standard EULA wins.
What Runtile is
Runtile is a running statistics app for personal use. It shows the runs already saved in Apple Health on your iPhone. It does not record runs, and it needs Apple Health access to show your data.
Not medical advice
Runtile is not a medical device. Heart rate zones, easy and hard ratings, the fitness trend, race time estimates, rest notes and other suggestions are general information worked out from your own data. They are not medical or coaching advice. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing your training, and stop if you feel unwell.
Runtile Pro
Runtile is free to download and use. Runtile Pro unlocks extra features and is offered as in-app purchases:
- Runtile Pro Monthly, an auto-renewing subscription billed every month.
- Runtile Pro Yearly, an auto-renewing subscription billed every year, with a 7 day free trial for new subscribers.
- Runtile Pro Lifetime, a one-time purchase that does not renew and supports Family Sharing.
US prices start at $2.99 a month, $14.99 a year and $29.99 for lifetime. The App Store shows the price in your country before you buy, and prices may change. A price change for a subscription follows Apple's rules and notices.
Payment, renewal and cancelling
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the next period within 24 hours before the current one ends.
- If you start the free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings: on iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds and restoring
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. To get Pro back on a new or reset iPhone, open Settings in Runtile and tap Restore purchases.
Your data
Runtile has no account and does not collect your data. The privacy policy explains exactly what stays on your phone and the one request made to Apple Maps.
No warranty
Runtile is provided as is. We work hard to make its numbers right, but they depend on the data your watch and apps save to Apple Health, and we cannot promise the app will always be accurate, available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using Runtile. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use Runtile after a change means you accept it.
